Designed for homeowners and DIY'ers, this MT Series Makita belt sander has a heavy duty construction to match that of all Makita tools but with an affordable price tag. Robust and reliable, with a 940w electric motor requiring a 230v supply to supply a maximum 380m/min belt speed for an excellent sanding performance. Accepts 100x610mm belt size.
The flat top design enables inverted applications to be easily carried out, designed to enable flush sanding to walls. The handle has been ergonomically designed with a rubberised soft grip which fits perfectly into the users hand to provide maximum control and comfort. Lightweight at only 6.2kg this sander can be used for longer periods of time without fatigue. Fitted with a double insulated 2m power supply cord.
Comes with a dust bag, carbon plate and abrasive paper.
Backed by a 12 month manufacturing warranty which can be extended a further 2 years when registered online with Makita within 30 days of purchase.
